DRAMATIC RESUMPTION OF THE ALL-WEATHER AT WOLVERHAMPTON

Blue Hedges won an eventful second division of the amateur riders handicap under Alison Hutchinson at Wolverhampton on 6h November. But the race was marred by a fatal injury to favourite La Via Ferrata, giving Chrissie Hannaford a nasty looking fall which miraculously resulted in only severe bruising and no broken bones.

The eventful race also saw Cordage and Commander Wish out of the race, as their jockeys James Down and Katie James were unseated in the melee.
