Amie Waugh shines at Hexham with Total Assets winning John Smiths Chase

Congratulations to Amie Waugh on a tenacious ride this afternoon at Hexham when partnering her father Simon’s TOTAL ASSETS in the John Smiths Chase over 4 miles.

Somewhat detached from the 8 other runners in the early stages, the partnership made good headway before the 19th of the 25 fences to be jumped to take up the lead 5 from home and gallop strongly to the line to win with ease.  This was a great performance!  Well done all!👏👏👏👏
